Internship

One Year Internship

Duration: 6 months to 1 year, (dates are negotiable)

Number of Interns: 1 at a time

Internship Description: This internship is designed for students who are applying to medical school. The ideal candidate is a post-college student who is taking time between undergraduate and medical school to gain experience in medicine and improve one’s resume. The intern will participate in research over the course of the time and gain valuable clinical exposure to the office environment as well as surgery. The goal is for the intern to complete multiple research projects and become published in a peer-reviewed journal. This internship is unpaid. The responsibility is 20 hours per week which should allow the intern to pursue other paid work. In addition, if accepted into medical school a donation is made to the intern’s medical school to help cover tuition in the amount of $12000 for a 1 year internship and $5000 for a 6 month internship.

Summer Internship

Duration: 2 months

Number of Interns: 1 at a time

Internship Description: This internship is designed for students who are in undergraduate and have a strong interest in medicine. The intern will participate in research over the course of the summer and gain valuable clinical exposure to the office environment as well as surgery. The goal is for the intern to complete one research project and produce a peer-reviewed publication. This internship is unpaid.
